Statistically, there are 5 fertile days in the female cycle which are determined in the following way:

• 3 days before ovulation: spermatozoa can survive in the female body for up to 72 hours. Therefore, sexual intercourse even up to 3 days before ovulation can lead to a pregnancy.
• 2 days of actual ovulation.

If no or only protected sexual intercourse takes place during this time, a pregnancy is largely ruled out.

Normally, a woman’s ovulation takes place on the 14th day after commencement of the monthly cycle. In the last few decades, however, it has been confirmed that there can be large variations in the length of the female cycle: between 23 and 35 days. The main causes for this phenomenon are smoking, stress and modern nutrition. These influencing factors lead to changes in the production of the hormones which regulate the endocrine system in the human body.  There is an almost perfect correlation between an increased oestrogen level in the body and the fertile days of the female cycle. Scientific studies, which were commenced a few decades ago and are continued today with more and more precise clinical tests, have shown this.

Oestrogen is found in human bodily fluids, such as urine, blood, saliva and cervical mucus. Saliva containing oestrogen, combined with a few of the salts contained in it, forms various significant patterns when drying. These vary depending on the level of the oestrogen concentration. The effectiveness of donnaTEST is based on this scientific discovery.  The integrated mini microscope makes this pattern easily visible and this allows a women’s fertile days to be identified quickly.

The reliability of donnaTEST was studied at the University of Rome in a clinical test on 328 women. The result was clear: 98% of the test results were correct. That means, the results agreed with the findings which were obtained in ultrasound examinations of the ovaries and follicles on the test subjects.

Information

There are practically no limitations to the number of times donnaTEST can be used. The integrated battery has an average life of 12 months.
