How to use Donna ovulation test

  1. Remove the seal and take out the black mini-microscope from the protective tube.

  2. The mini-microscope slides are protected by a plastic film. Remove this when donnaTEST is first used. Clean the slide with a soft, damp cloth before every test.

  3. Remove a small amount of saliva from your tongue with your finger and put it onto the mini-microscope slide. Do not use too much saliva and avoid creating bubbles.

  4. Place the mini-microscope back in the protective tube and put the seal over it.

  5. Now leave the saliva to dry for at least 10 minutes. (The exact drying time varies depending on humidity and room temperature.)

  6. Remove the seal and hold donnaTEST between the thumb and middle finger. Press the button on the base of the protective tube with your index finger to light up the minimicroscope.  Hold the button down while you look through the lens of the mini-microscope.

  7. Turn the focussing ring with the thumb and index finger of your free hand until you have a clear picture of the crystalline structures of your saliva sample. If you can still detect movements in your saliva sample when looking through the mini-microscope, the fluid has not yet completely dried.  Simply wait a few minutes.
