How do ovulation tests work?

Ovulation tests detect luteinizing hormone (LH) in urine samples. Just prior to ovulation, women experience a brief surge in luteinizing hormone. Ovulation strips help you pinpoint this surge and anticipate ovulation - your most fertile period in your cycle. Luteinizing hormone, in elevated amounts, is actually the hormone that causes you to ovulate, so that is why lh tests are so effective in anticipating your most fertile time.

Our tests are very sensitive (25mIU/mL) to LH which makes them more than 99% accurate. Results take only minutes and you can use the test any time of the day.

How to do the test ?

Immerse the strip into the urine. Take the strip out after 3 seconds. Wait for colored bands to appear. Depending on the concentration of LH in the test specimen, positive results may be observed in as short as 40 seconds. However, to confirm results, the complete reaction time (3-5 minutes) is required. If two color bands are visible and the test band is equal to or darker than the control band, one will probably ovulate in the next 24-48 hours. If only one color band appears on the control region or the test band is present but lighter in color intensity than the control band, then there is no LH surge. you must re-test the following day at the same time.

How do pregnancy tests work?

HCG pregnancy tests determine pregnancy through the detection of the hormone hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) in a woman's urine. This hormone is can be detected as early as 8-9 days after ovulation/fertilization. Our tests ave very sensitive. you can start using them as early as 9-10 days after ovulation/fertilization.

How to do the test ?

Immerse the strip into the urine. Take the strip out after 3 seconds. Wait for colored bands to appear. Depending on the concentration of hCG in the test specimen, positive results may be observed in as short as 40 seconds. However, to confirm results, the complete reaction time (3-5 minutes) is required. If two color bands are visible and the test band is equal to or darker than the control band, you have probably detected a surge in hCG. The test is positive. Positive results should always be verified with a doctor. If only one color band appears on the control region or the test band is present but lighter in color intensity than the control band, then no pregnancy has been detected.
